One of the most decorated men in the history of the gridiron is now setting his sights on a new field to conquer - and this one is covered in dirt.

NFL icon John Elway is becoming a stock contractor - and his bull will soon be bucking at a Built Ford Tough Series arena near you. The two-time Super Bowl winner is part of the exciting new Back Seat Buckers program developed by PBR and ABBI. This program of 100 elite Futurity bulls will battle it out for half a million dollars in prize money this inaugural season.

"It's very exciting for us to have someone like John Elway involved," stated ABBI Executive Director Kaycee Simpson. "Not only is he a football legend, he was a Bronco. And since PBR and ABBI call Colorado home, that makes his involvement extra special for all of us."

The Back Seat Buckers bull draft will take place at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on March 3. As the NFL's #1 draft pick in 1983, and a New York Yankees draft pick in 1981 while still at Stanford, Elway knows a thing or two about the importance of draft position and of making the right career decisions.

Although Elway played against the Dallas Cowboys many times during his illustrious career, it will be his first battle at the state-of-the-art stadium that was completed just three years ago. Elway will go against 99 other Back Seat Buckers owners at Cowboys Stadium in an attempt to secure the best possible draft position to select his bull. The draft will be held before the PBR's Dickies Iron Cowboy III event.

Elway will name his bull "Mile High Miracle" in homage to the city of Denver and the Broncos' home field. That bull will buck against the 99 other 2-year-old athletes at four regular-season events held during BFTS weekends and at the Back Seat Buckers Finals in Las Vegas. Held during the PBR World Finals, the event will earn the winning Back Seat Buckers Futurity bull $250,000.

Back Seat Buckers is turn-key bull ownership - the ABBI feeds, houses, trains and hauls all 100 bulls in the program for their owners. Anyone from a secretary from Spokane to a Colorado legend can now own a bull through this unique program and experience the rush of competing.

Elway was a starting quarterback for a record five Super Bowls. It takes years of dedication and exceptional talent to earn a Super Bowl ring, but anyone can take home the Back Seat Buckers top prize in 2012. Elway is just hoping he's the one who picks the bull that can add a gold buckle to his trophy case.
